Meaghan and D’Arcy’s wedding at The Eddie in Prince Edward County was the perfect blend of thoughtful planning, simple elegance, and genuine joy.

We worked together for almost two years leading up to their wedding day, carefully shaping a vision that felt timeless and true to them. When the day finally arrived, May greeted us with unseasonably cold temperatures, but that didn’t dampen the energy or the celebration in the slightest.

Wrapped in layers and good spirits, Meaghan and D’Arcy fully embraced the day, focusing on what mattered most: being present, having fun, and celebrating with the people they love. The atmosphere was warm in all the ways that counted.

The design vision was centred around simple elegance, with a classic palette of emerald green and white. Clean lines, soft textures, and understated details created a look that felt refined without being overdone allowing the venue and the couple themselves to shine.

For cocktail hour, guests were treated to a generous grazing table, an inviting, relaxed way to kick off the evening and encourage connection. Dinner followed with a standout meal by La Condesa, serving Mexican-inspired dishes that felt fun, flavourful, and perfectly suited to the couple’s laid-back yet elevated celebration.

What truly made this wedding special were the people. Meaghan and D’Arcy were an absolute joy to work with throughout the planning process, and their family and friends brought such warmth and positive energy to the day. It felt like one big, heartfelt celebration from start to finish.

Despite the cold, the day was filled with laughter, connection, and moments that felt effortlessly meaningful. A beautiful reminder that the best weddings are defined by the love and joy shared, not the temperature outside.
