Jessie and Korey’s wedding began with one plan and evolved into something even more meaningful.
Originally, the couple had planned to marry in Toronto, but along the way they realized they wanted something more personal. They ultimately chose to host their wedding at Jessie’s grandparents’ home on Big Rideau Lake, a decision that brought a deeper sense of connection, nostalgia, and intimacy to the day.
Surrounded by family, nature, and a place filled with memories, the celebration felt incredibly special from the start. The private property setting created a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere while still allowing for a beautifully elevated design.
The overall aesthetic was colourful, lush, and romantic. A warm palette of pinks, oranges, peaches, and cream was layered with soft greenery and subtle pops of gold, creating a look that felt vibrant yet timeless. The florals were full and abundant, adding texture and movement throughout the space while complementing the natural beauty of the lakeside setting.
Every design choice felt intentional but effortless, romantic without being overly formal, and colourful without feeling busy. The result was a celebration that perfectly reflected Jessie and Korey: joyful, thoughtful, and deeply personal.
This wedding was a beautiful reminder that sometimes the best plans are the ones that evolve and that choosing a place with meaning can make a celebration feel truly unforgettable.

My husband and I got married at my grandparents’ private property (40 mins North of Kingston) and being from Toronto, Chantal was instrumental in helping us to plan our special day! Right from the start she was warm, professional and you can tell that she really cares about the couples she works with. Chantal collaborates with you to make sure that your wedding is exactly what you are envisioning. We really appreciated her tailored vendor recommendations (because she is local to the area where we were getting married and knows it better than us!), monthly meetings, where we could bounce all our questions and ideas off her, and weekly meetings closer to the wedding where we went through all the finer details. She even did two site visits with us which was crucial! Both her and Gillian were there on the day setting up, checking in with us, and kept us on the timeline (and so much more!), which allowed Korey and I to enjoy the whole day stress-free. She did so much that we probably didn’t even see which we appreciate so much!
